April is upon us, and I'm gonna put this up a few days early because there are a few big things early on in the month.

First of all, The Holidays

April 2nd is Daylight Savings Time (spring Forward)
April 16th is Easter (It's That Bunny Guy Again)

OK, here's the parade route for this years opening day parade.

This year?s parade begins at the Race Street entrance of historic Findlay Market, located in Over-the Rhine and proceeds south on Race to Central Parkway. It will bear east (left) on Central Parkway to Main Street. It will turn south (right) onto Main Street, and proceed to Fifth Street. The Parade will turn east (left) onto Fifth Street and end at Fifth and Broadway.

The NCAA National Championship game is April 3rd

That's it. Ice cream in it's purist form. The scoop. and what better way to enjoy a scoop on spring day than out of a cone (or a cup)
Yes, that is it! For once we will not celebrate the forms ice cream takes when mixed, stirred or covered. We will celebrate it in it's truest form.

Of course, all chips, chunks, dips, dunks, swirls, twirls, toppings, mixins, sundaes, cups, cones, shakes, malts, floats, soda's smoothies, sammi's popcicles, pushups, smoothies, zebras and everything else counts as well!

It's the scoops month, and again it's your scoop so do with it whatever you want!

Ape Awareness days at the zoo are April 1&2

How You Can Help!

While Ape Awareness Days is a two-day event, Evans and Jenike stressed that the partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is working with Eco-Cell is ongoing. People can continue to bring cell phones to the Zoo, where they can be recycled or disposed of.
"If you have an old cell phone, they shouldn't be sent to the landfills," said Jenike. "They should be disposed of appropriately."

For every operable cell phone that is donated at the Zoo, Eco-Cell will donate $15 back to the Zoo. "Those funds we get go back to conservation projects," Jenike said. "Our staff and all of us at the Zoo are passionate about conservation."
